I have a friend with a multiple personality disorder, on top of bipolar disorder, suffers from depression, and anxiety and has been known to commit attempted suicide twice. One minute he's fine, talking to me, the next he's distant and quiet and won't talk to anyone. Completely isolates himself.
What a sad ongoing battle... there's plenty of times I wish I could help him, but he's afraid he'd hurt me. But that's just it. I don't think he would. He's even afraid to be in a relationship, that's how horrible it is. He's so alone.
It makes me sad, but I at least stay happy for him, and I never don't smile (some people say I smile too much) I ca
